The Head of the Universal Service Fund (USF), Mr Ronald Tembo, was part of the Malawi delegation participating in the 18th International Conference and Exhibition on Digital Education, Training, and Skills Development, eLearning Africa 2025, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The delegation was led by the Minister of Higher Education, Hon. Dr. Jessie Kabwila, and the Minister of Information and Digitalization, Hon. Moses Kunkuyu. Malawi, spotlighting its impactful digital education initiatives, including the Building Education Foundations through Innovation and Technology (BEFIT) program and the Connect a School (CAS) Project, both aimed at transforming education access and quality through technology.
The conference attracted over 1,350 participants from 82 countries, providing a dynamic platform for policymakers, educators, innovators, and development partners to engage in dialogue and collaboration on the future of education and digital transformation in Africa.
Malawi’s participation reflects its strong commitment to harnessing digital innovation to drive inclusive and sustainable education reform.
