The Malawi Communications Regulatory Authority (MACRA), through the Universal Service Fund (USF), has donated 10 computers to Malawi Police Secondary School to support the establishment of a computer laboratory and strengthen digital learning.
Speaking at the handover ceremony, MACRA Board Chairperson Counsel Chancy Gondwe said the donation goes beyond equipment. He described it as an investment in the knowledge, opportunities, and future of young Malawians. The computers will support practical ICT lessons, improve digital literacy, and enable learners to access online learning resources, conduct research, and develop essential technology skills.
Malawi Police Secondary School Board Chairperson, Commissioner Kelvin Mulezo, thanked MACRA for the gesture and called it a significant milestone for the school. He said the computers will equip learners with valuable digital skills and enhance their ability to participate in an increasingly digital world.
Through the Universal Service Fund, MACRA remains committed to advancing Digital Inclusion for All, ensuring that schools and communities have the ICT resources they need to take part meaningfully in the digital economy.
